A practical approach to a computing revolution

Like it or not, we cannot version our way out of the dilemma facing our computing environment.  Slapping "2.0" on something or creating new buzz phrases like "cloud computing" still give us more of the same.  Sure, the Web has some impressive improvements.  And, yes, your computer's operating system looks really nice (before it hangs or crashes your applications).  But only a solution based on a radically different way of thinking will give us sustainable relief.

While CORE (and the other Zeratec technologies involved) is a much better answer to what ails us, we are the first to admit we cannot simply throw away everything we have today.  The concept of revolution by evolution applies here.  We designed CORE and its supporting infrastructure to embrace existing products and technologies, making it possible for them to participate in this new computing paradigm.

Simply put, our technology strategy works in a kind of "from-the-middle-out" way – building a whole new cyberspace that runs upon the Internet and current computing systems.  Utilizing Microsoft .NET, CORE is also made to interface with other applications and systems – including the Web itself – so that what is delivered to you is everything you have now, plus the new stuff you get from CORE.

As you enjoy the benefits of CORE, and more companies offer products designed for this new computing environment, increasing momentum will drive transformation of other technologies and devices so that we all reach that long-sought goal of making technology work for us, rather than the other way around.

Zeratec is a new kind of environmentalist – a computing environmentalist.  We are here to bring about awareness and change, and we invite you to be a part of a new movement in technology.  This isn’t about signing petitions or protesting (although it might be funny if you did); it’s about choosing a better computing solution and planting a seed for where tomorrow leads.

Section 508 requires that electronic and information technology (EIT) products procured or used by government agencies allow access to Federal employees and members of the public with disabilities that is comparable to the access available to non-disabled individuals.

In keeping with our corporate policies, Zeratec strives to be compliant with the requirements of Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, and to make all of its products, software, and documentation more accessible by applying the principles and guidance of Section 508.

We’ve created this Website as an introduction to Zeratec’s philosophy, mission, and vision.  But, you may be wondering why we haven’t shared more specific information about our products, services, and business models.

Well, like we’ve been saying, today’s cyberspace is a dangerous environment.  So, while we complete commercialization of our technologies, we’re keeping the details under wraps to protect our intellectual property.

If you’d like to learn more about how our innovations can benefit you or your business, please give us a call.  We’d be delighted to talk with you!
